ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
G.N.M
Candidates applying for the G.N.M Program must fulfill the criteria:
Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.
Minimum education:
10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board with 40% marks.
Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
Student shall be medically fit.
Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
Student shall be admitted once in a year.
A.N.M
Candidates applying for the A.N.M Program must fulfill the criteria:
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
• The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.
PREVENTION OF RAGGING:
The Institute considers ragging as a serious offence. Stern action against the offenders shall be taken. Anyone involved in ragging will be punished in accordance with law.
To have declaration letter from the students that if found guilty of ragging they will be suspended. An Anti ragging committee to be made in the Institution. During the Orientation Program students will be provided with committee telephone number which they can use when required
COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE:
Students personal problems will be looked into and necessary counseling and guidance will be given by the teachers. The students are free to approach faculty members for the purpose.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
There will be 2 rounds of qualifying examination being conducted at the Institute.
1st round will be a Written Examination of 60 marks followed by Personal Interview of 40 marks. Final selection is based on the collective performance of the candidate in both the exam.
Successful candidates will have to submit following documents at the time of admission.
- Original 10th &12th or equivalent Pass Certificate.
- Original 10th &12th or equivalent mark sheet.
- Original S.L.C/C.L.C.
- Original Conduct certificate.
- Original Migration certificate.
- Original Caste certificate if applicable.
- Allotment letter (Govt. quota)
- 8 passport size photographs.
SPORTS AND RECREATION:
Recreation room is provided to the students with equipped machines, Indoor and Outdoor games.
Students can organize many events, Annual Sports day, Annual college function, cultural programmes, social camps, picnic, get together, and variety educational and entertainment programmes within the campus for their physical and mental development.
